“HOUSTON WE HAVE A PROBLEM”
turnout for the July event is very very low!
Two years ago membership voted by over 66% that they wanted better
courses even if it required higher costs and mandated carts.
In order to phase in this request the board changed the May, July
and September events to deliver the best courses Heritage Bluffs, Chalet
Hills, etc.” This lack of
turnout will force the board to make some difficult decisions going
Possible changes are:
Reduce premium events from 3-4 per year to only 1-2 per year.
2. Eliminate an entire division
Put two divisions on one course
Reduce prize money due to smaller fields.
